The Saddle Club offers equestrian opportunities for all Military, students, civilian staff, and their families working in the Defence Academy. A wide range of livery services are available for members with their own horses/ponies.

Lessons, private or group can be arranged on your own horse or on one of our small team of reliable school horses and ponies.

The staff are British Horse Society trained and qualified . They provide excellent tuition for riders of all ages and abilities Lessons can be in small groups, semi-private, or private. The aim of the instructor is to ensure their clients progress and have fun .It is never too late to start riding-it is a great way to maintain fitness!

The Saddle Club now has a floodlit indoor school ensuring lessons can go ahead come rain or shine, with evening lessons available during the week. There is a jumping paddock with a full set of Show Jumps set out.

The Club hold low key “in-house” Dressage/Jumping competitions.

Hacking (riding out) is available within the college grounds and in the local area accompanied by a member of staff.

From the complete beginner, to the more experienced rider the Saddle Club has expertise for everyone in a friendly safe environment.
