Livery
The Club has 27 good sized stables, and we offer all year round turnout to our liveries. Most horses share a one acre paddock with another horse, although individual turnouts are available if necessary. DIY livery owners are expected to be responsible for the routine poo picking and maintenance of their allocated paddock. Limited space is provided for the storage of feed and tack. We also offer outdoor livery to ponies if appropriate.

The yard is managed by and experienced BHS qualified instructor, and we employ a number of grooms and working pupils. The Club has access to safe riding inside and outside the college grounds as well as a floodlit outdoor school and a wide range of show jumps. The yard is well situated for travelling out to alternative schooling and competition venues.
The Club offers a range of livery services from DIY to full and schooling for horses and outdoor livery for ponies. Feed and bedding can be bought through the club, and Saddle Club staff can also arrange for farrier, vet, and dentist. A number of livery owners choose to reduce their livery bills by offering their horse or pony for use on 'working livery'.
Acceptance is at the discretion of the yard manager. Working livery horses are worked a approximately 7 hours per week. Potential working liveries are given a two week trial after which, in discussion with the owner a decision is made.
The Club also owns a number of horses and ponies that can be loaned, giving individuals the opportunity to experience horse ownership without the initial capital outlay. Horses on loan are on working livery. See Loan a Pony Section for more details.
